The lessons overview says that I should be able to adopt or "ask to be adopted" with adult sims provided that
A.) The sim does not already have parents,
B) the adopted sim is at least one age cat...
Ideas
I've never used CC or Mods with this save file, although I've used them in the past for other saves. They've been uninstalled for at least a month now, well before starting this save, which I started maybe 10 days ago.
