is this for a specific dynasty only ? Does it work on a new save for testing ?
I joined the Abrantes dynasty and then renamed it so I could have (and build on) their prestige, it increased when I made alliances with the Darongs and Thebes but it doesn't increase when I do things that are encouraged by dynasty ideals. I had another game where I got to the top rank of the noble career and started my own dynasty and it was working fine. I don't think it's because I didn't start my own dynasty because I did get a little through starting alliances.
