[RL] Scandal Icon not going away when cleared/Moodlet time getting longer

I have this purple exclamation point in a cloud that periodically flashes. Now, I thought it had something to do with a scandal that my Sim got involved in, since I think that's when it started...

Also seeing this in my game. My sim and his boyfriend were cought having a public woohoo at the gym and after 3 days my sim's scandal effect went away but his boyfriend's did not. His boyfriend did live in another house when the scandal started and moved in after it ended, but the icon did not go away.
