[RL] Scandal Icon not going away when cleared/Moodlet time getting longer

I have this purple exclamation point in a cloud that periodically flashes.  Now, I thought it had something to do with a scandal that my Sim got involved in, since I think that's when it started.  In any case, the scandal has since cleared, but I'm still getting the repeating purple exclamation point.  Can anyone shed some light on this... sort of making me batty that it won't go away.
