[RL] Scandal Icon not going away when cleared/Moodlet time getting longer

The cheat didn’t work for me, but the only thing that resolved it was turning off scandals in pack settings! (I am a console player, so no mods)

after that my sim got a happy moodlet about a cleared scandal. Turning scandals back on was ok too (it didn’t return the scandal moodet).

It would be nice if the icon was removed when turning headlineeffects off. Especially with the Clandestine lot trait. 

My Sim was involved in a scandal with Father Winter. She paid, through the computer, to make it go away and the scandal was gone but not the symbol. It won’t go away and there is no options on the computer about her being in a scandal. 
I put her in a new save as a townie but the symbol won’t go away and it’s driving me nuts. 
I found a cheat online that was supposed to solve the problem but it didn’t help at all. What can I do to fix it? 

My sim did have a scandal, but it had run its course. The moodlet was gone and the info broker showed nothing, but this ugly cloud kept popping up every few seconds like the OP. The cheat worked to remove the cloud for me but still hoping for a real fix.

Hey! My Sim's scandal was publicly revealed, and my Sim had a negative moodlet for 2 days. After 2 days, the scandal was forgotten and the moodlet disappeared. However, the speech bubble next to my Sim remains and appears every few seconds. It's annoying. There are currently no active scandals.

My game is in Polish. Sorry for my English! 

Same. Even in a new game save(/deleted Sims 4 folder, started new game), the cloud icon is still appearing. Tried the two options, cheat code and toggle of pack settings, and still not disappeared unfortunately. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

Same. I am having this issue right now in my game - disabling it in settings and restarting my game is not working. My sims do not have active scandals, but constantly have that annoying purple bubble lingering around them. 

Scandal won't go away even when turned off in settings.

same here icon wouldnt clear even after a sim week, Had to use MCCC to clear it :(  . The scandal didnt bother me I thought it was fun but getting the icon stuck all the time no
