My sims don't even need to be married to get them and it happens without having a dynasty as well. My sims were simply dating and they got the bug. I haven't had a married couple since the bug started and have instead been using the woohoo partner, which doesn't give the sentiment to have children. I want sim families but playing as a single parent sim is fun too. I hope they fix this soon because I want to merge my dynasties.
