After tonight’s update (12.05.2026) Sims who doesn’t belong to certain dynasties but have some connection to them keep adding even after I try to manually delete them. It goes on and on. Once I leave one family enter another to fix it, it happens again.

EA PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS GLITCH!!
I am having the EXACT same problem and it is making gameplay for all royal dynasties related by blood to the Thebe family (which is almost all the main ones) unplayable!! Every time I load up a dynasty household it tells me they have switched dynasties and changed to the Abarantes! Please fix this ASAP because I love the royalty pack and really want to be able to use my Thebe save again!! I cannot save the game in its current state since I only have once descendant of the Thebe dynasty and they constantly change to another one with every new load.
This does not work. The same glitch appears when played with no mods.
Okey, today my whole dynasty changed into other dynasty, because one of distant ancestor (7 generations before) is from that another dynasty. This is seriously messed up.
Anyone with blood connection has their dynasty changed upon loading up household. There is nothing you can do to change it. If you change it back it will just revert back to the wrong one.
Game is unplayable thanks to this bug. The only thing which I can do until this is fixed is playing scenarios in a throw away save. I hope this doesn’t need 1 year for a fix.
Yeah, I keep having to make my sim leave the Landgraab dynasty but every time I leave CAs or restart the game, it places her back into the dynasty and rinse, repeat and now pretty much, everyone hates my sim.
In my save, Jonny Zest is married with Beatrice Capp. Their 3 children and Jonny are in the Capp dynasty, but after 12 may Zest is in Landraab and Capp dynasties. Children are only in Capp dynasty.
My sims children will leave the dynasty and the next time I launch the game, they're re-added, with a pop-up message to say they've joined. Ive tried getting the parent to leave as well as the children but they all just get readded next time I open the game
Hi. I thought I'd add a warning to this post for anyone who values their Dynasty gameplay. Cordelia V just died in my game, and, because her son was classed as being in the Abrantes Dynasty due to this bug, the Thebe Dynasty ended as there wasn't an heir that the game recognised. Then, because the game deletes the sim's career after death, I couldn't re-instate the Thebe Dynasty, so I had to the last time I saved before Cordelia's death, which was yesterday.
Hi. Amendment to my previous comment. I cannot play the game now that Cordelia has died. No matter what I do, every time I travel, go into CAS, or close the game, Cordelia's son goes back to the Abrantes Dynasty and the Thebe Dynasty ends. Her son is still named 'King' as he is Cordelia's heir, but he is not in the Thebe Dynasty, and the Thebe Dynasty is gone. I genuinely hate this game with a passion. Fix this now EA!
