After tonight’s update (12.05.2026) Sims who doesn’t belong to certain dynasties but have some connection to them keep adding even after I try to manually delete them. It goes on and on. Once I leave one family enter another to fix it, it happens again.

Why is it so hard to fix this? Just revert the code and be done with it... My household sims are constantly make "Joined Dynasty" notification; they're already added by me manually so what's the point here???
Yeah, this notification about joining dynasty is pretty annoying. Also my sim's daughter joined the dynasty and he wasn't supposed to know she even existed (she was born before R&L). This is rather storyline-breaking. Don't really care about Ondarion dynasties but there's an absolute mess too.
same problem here. some of my sims are currently showing in 2 dynasties. Their original family and the married dynasty, same for any kids they have.
no mods or cc ever too.
I play completely vanilla on my Mac. This bug is irking me so bad, I had everything so perfectly crafted. I ended up just deleting every single dynasty because I can't handle this, it's ruining my storytelling and makes this feature absolutely unplayable.
I wonder if foraging their family tree would change anything?
Same issue with the HEAD being in another dynasty suddenly. Extremely annoying folks!
So I had my sim ask to join the correct dynasty and now he and the daughter are in the correct dynasty again. I have not shut down the game yet to see if it reverts back but for now all is as it should be....for that household. It's a legacy rotational save so I'm assuming I have to go around and fix all the families.

Would like to hear how that went! Hearing about this bug has kept me in offline mode to prevent updating the patch :( I'd like to do the event though so I might just go ahead and update it soon anyways.
Yeah I just updated my game and updated all my mods. I thought it could have been a mod issue but even removing all my mods it still showed up. In my game it only happens to the dynasty heir sim, never to the dynasty head sim. I do also only play with one household per save. The dynasty unity also resets to perfect middle every time the pop up shows up.
