After tonight’s update (12.05.2026) Sims who doesn’t belong to certain dynasties but have some connection to them keep adding even after I try to manually delete them. It goes on and on. Once I leave one family enter another to fix it, it happens again.

I hope this doesn’t come across as unappreciative because I’ve been an avid Sims player for basically my entire life, and I genuinely love this game. I also love the creativity behind packs like Royalty & Legacy, especially as a huge Bridgerton fan. But I’m honestly really frustrated right now.
Every major update seems to create new problems, and this latest one completely broke my game in ways I wasn’t experiencing before. I even tried to avoid updating because I was worried something like this would happen, but it’s becoming almost impossible to play without being forced into updates eventually.
I appreciate that you guys are constantly trying to improve the game and keep it exciting for players, but the bugs are becoming overwhelming to the point where it makes me want to delete the game entirely sometimes. Even after removing mods and custom content, I’m still experiencing major issues while trying to play the game basically vanilla.
The Royalty & Legacy systems in my save are completely broken now. My dynasties glitch constantly, relationships and titles revert back after I try to fix them, and I can’t properly edit anything anymore. I can’t choose heirs, manage dynasties, or even enjoy the core storytelling aspects of the pack because everything keeps breaking or undoing itself.
What’s especially upsetting is how much time and storytelling I’ve invested into these families.
I’m not trying to complain just to complain — I genuinely care about this game and want it to work. I just really hope these issues can be looked into because right now it’s making the experience incredibly discouraging for longtime players.

Me Too!I'm a PC player using only MCCC (issue also happens with MCCC disabled). After the May 12 patch, the automatic dynasty joining is way too aggressive. A Sim who was the head of his own dynasty was forcibly added to his father’s dynasty. Now:
Workaround: Make him create a new dynasty and move everyone there.This is breaking long legacy families with complex bloodlines.
Since the Goths and Landgraabs don't get their Dynasties retroactively, I have to keep starting a new game just to get them. Now, Dynasty memberships are broke beyond repair. Nice job QA folks! Unbelievable!!!😠
Mine is doing it as well, but I also noticed that when I popped over to Cordelia's household, Thiago is labeled as part of the Abrantes dynasty but still part of the Thebe dynasty. I tried adding him back again, but then as soon as I changed lots, it changed back. It also does the same thing in a modless save.

I opened all the dynasty details in the one save I've opened since the patch dropped.
The unplayed Landgraab dynasty still shows Johnny Zest as an outcast.
But my played Virgilio Capp shows he's no longer an outcast. And every time I load his household, I get a notice that he just joined the Capp Dynasty--again and again.
I thought it was a new feature allowing sims to be in multiple dynasties.
Having the same problem. It’s also not displaying the correct one. I had one sim that switched dynasty. I get a notification he joined his old dynasty- but the dynasty details tab shows the new dynasty.
I reloaded after fixing my dynasty after reading about this bug and a dead Sim in now back in it and her ghost no longer exists in the game. She's been gone for some time. My heir has dropped several places and the head is no longer no 1 in rankings. Only one family member retained their rank. If EA won't fix this I'm hoping a capable modder can do their job for them. To think I wasn't going to update at all yesterday. I should have listened to past me. My household is ruined.
