Rocks and dig sites not respawning (Patch 1.112.512)

Still having this issue on PC, and cannot complete the Call of Nature quest as do not have a single rock to dig. I have spent soooo much time looking and relooking in many places. I have looked in other worlds as well as users report that digging rocks elsewhere also completes the quest. I did find one in the park in Oasis Springs, but when I told my sim to dig it, the actioned got cancelled as they were heading that way. When I looked again, the rock had disappeared. Really annoying and unfair that I won't be able to complete this quest and unlock the rest of the items! 

I tested w/o mods or CC and discovered that the dig sites in Oasis Springs do respawn if you are on the lot overnight. The magic hours seem to be from 12 am-4am.  Same is true for the Forgotten Grotto.  The Science lab starts spawning shortly after showing up for work, regardless of what time that is. I think this is only the case after all the dig sites have been harvested for the first time. 

That's what I had to do. I packed a tent and a snack bag and made sure there were toilets and showers in the Desert Bloom Park. 

I still have this issue. All frog logs, in all worlds and in all saves disappear and never generates again. I had hoped this would be fixed together with the annoying hat bug in the latest patch, but still there.

This bug persists after installing Adventure Awaits and it's patch. No frog collecting possible in my game.

I am having this problem too. Has anyone found a solution. I have hung out in the park in Oasis springs for an eternity. I’ve arrived before 4am. The only new thing that appears is frogs. 
My home lot does seem to generate new collectables but there is only one on the entire lot! 

I have been stuck on Aspiration task 2, The Curator for ages because I have to college 3 fossils and cannot. I've dug in many rocks in both the Willow Creek home world and in Oasis Springs and none of them have ever produced fossils, even for the fossil rocks with bones.

Now I cannot get rocks to regenerate in Oasis Springs and I have no idea how to complete this task.

This is driving me crazy. They only re-spawn if you're in the lot at 2AM, and it's every lot in every neighborhood.
