This is still happening for me, too, and to make things even more frustrating and confusing, I don't have this problem when I start a new save, regardless of whether or not I use mods. I really don't want to have to go through and delete and replace all my vampires in my main save so they show up properly.
I have this problem with new saves and newly created spellcaster and vampire sims as well as spellcasters and vampires in households saved in my library before the 10/22/24 update. I wouldn't be as annoyed if I could start a new save file and place my old sims into the new save file or at least create new sims to play in the meantime until this is fixed because I usually end up having to start a new save file anyways after every update or at max after every 3 updates, because the game updates at this point always end up corrupting my existing save files and/or cause things to glitch really badly only in my already existing save files.

it was much cooler before the update
the old forum looked much better
still no eyes after 3 months later
