Let me first explain that my English is not very good, English is not my native language.SECONDLY,The post being archived isn't the main issue; the main issue is that the EA staff aren't answering this question, and no one knows if they're avoiding it.
EA staff generally doesn't give status updates. It's under investigation so it's being looked into. I don't know how they prioritize stuff.
Just because the staff is investigating doesn't mean that the staff is really dealing with it, and everyone knows it
You wanted to know if this is abandoned and I agree with you that issues that don't get engagement and and aren't reproducible might get abandoned. This one gets new answers everyday and is easy reproducible so I really doubt they would abandon that.
That's just my personal opinion though and I don't seem to be able to convince you. EA has never been very transparent with what they are fixing when. I've been doing this helping thing since 2009 and it's actually gotten a lot better since then.
