Yes. That is another way of protecting your Sims is by not playing. I really wonder if the bug affects ones you have created before the bug happened but aren't using at the moment and just sitting in your library. I have multiple saves. Each save I have a different story going on. Some I will probably delete due to me ruining my own story.
But do I not like being able to see my Vampire as I created him? Yes. Much like everyone, I want a permanent solution.
The bug does affect sims that are saved to the library and just sitting there.

Also true, I mean if you try to use them downloading to your save - then they are affected.

I was specifically refering to households of sims saved to my library on my console storage not downloaded ones from the online library but yeah both of those two situations of saved household sims are affected by this bug once they are placed into live mode.
About 3 or 4 of my sims that are saved as original copies before the 10/22/24 update that were never placed in live mode before the 10/22/24 update are are not affected by this bug immediately upon entering live mode for the first time after the 10/22/24 update but they immediately become bugged for me as well after getting a job or joining an after school activity.
My favorite vampire sim saved to my library from live mode before the 10/22/24 is saved as unemployed but he quit his job before I saved him and he has maxed all jobs available before lovestruck. If I place that saved copy of him into live mode after the 10/22/24 update he is immediately bugged even though he is currently unemployed. So my sims are immediately bugged if they have ever been employed or joined an after school activity in the history of their existence.

Yes, downloading from your own library, of course. And yes, they can last not bugged for some short time. Doesn't help at all :/
