You are wrong. I don't have to remember anything. My save-file with all my sims is unaffected by this bug, because I've never touched it since October. So when EA or some modder fixes this, all my sims will be fine.
This means that yes, I cannot play the game. And I'm not interested to play it without my sims. This is the same reason I'm not interested in creating new saves. My save file is from 2014. I'd rather deleted the game altogether than give up on what I've created.
Since this bug affects freshly created sims as well as old sims there's not much of a point in completely starting over with new sims and a new save anyways because the new sims will get bugged eventually as well. At this point I have uninstalled the game until this bug is fixed.
