This issues is STILL going on! I've tried everything I can think of and figured out the problem for EA. It's the new tattoo system that causes the bug. If you start a new game, new save not a new Sim, the bug is gone until you start using the new tattoo system. If you just use old tattoos or new ones where old ones could be all is fine, but, if you use the tattoos anywhere else : BOOM! problems and glitch occurs. Now, with vampires at least the eyes/teeth still work/show if you make them have "dark form". As to how EA can fix this issue I have no idea but it's been going on for A LONG time.
My bugged vampire sim that I created a long time ago already has the regular tattoos before I got this bug on 10/22/24. I dont think I tested loading him into cas from my library on a new save file, remove his tattoos, then place him into live mode. I guess I could test that and see if that fixes him. I dont have "business and hobbies" pack though.
Edit: On a new save file with my bugged vampire sim that has tattoos before I got this bug from the 10/22/24 update I removed all of his tattoos and placed him into live mode and it did not fix his normal form for me. I haven't had any issues with this bug affecting my vampires dark form. I don't have "business and hobbies" pack and I noticed that I need that pack to have access to the new paint mode cas tattoo system, which I am not going to consider buying until this bug is fixed.
