Yes. You have that mod. I have found another that I am using. I am using TwelfthDoctor's Occult Hybrid Stabilizer and Unlocker. It was recently updated with a fix for this issue. With it, I am able to edit in CAS using the eyes and everything from the game without them disappearing from CAS. You can even used saved households without having to edit them first.
But unfortunately the mods won't help those that are playing the Sims on console. Console players are going to have to wait for EA to fix the bug.
