One Sim in my household that I play, his eyes will not stay the assigned color I give him, I do change them back in "CAS" or "Manage Household" but when I save and exit out of either of those, the eyes keep changing to a different color and not the one I picked. I need help or any solutions? I have tried all I could but nothing is working.

Same. Haven't touched the Sims 4 as-well. Not until this bug gets fixed.

What happened to the new bug team? Did they all get laid off? The laundry lists last year were huge and addressing all kinds of bugs but now it feels like it's not only slowing down but getting worse.
Occults are a HUGE part of my gameplay, but between this and the Neighborhood Stories bugs, the obsessive phone use, plus excessive EPs and their game-breaking patches, ads everywhere in my face asking for more money and no cool GPs anymore... I've really lost motivation to play. I've been getting other games on Steam instead.

This happens when a sim is born in game. If you create them in CAS as the occult, they can usually have the occult eyes. I've had sims, usually born as spell casters, not have the spell caster eyes as options in CAS. If I cure them of being a spell caster and then make them a spell caster again, they have the option in CAS to get the spell caster eyes. Even if I select the spell caster eyes, however, they lose them when I go into live mode and just get random regular eyes.
If you play any occults, don't buy anything else till they fix it. It is the only way they will care.
Dark form also has the same issue now? I have not played in a while because I am waiting for this bug to be fixed. I would like to play the sims 4 but I will just get bored and end up in a bad mood because of this bug.
It figures this bug happened to me when it did because when I was playing the sims 4 before I got this bug from the 10/22/24 update I was actually planning to start taking screenshots of my vampire and spellcaster creations (all with vampire features) in live mode so I could share the pictures with my friends who don't play sims 4.
The main reason almost all of my sims are vampires and spellcasters is because of the vampire features. I play on console so I can't use mods or cc to make up for the lack of creativity options. If all types of sims had access to the same vampire feature options I would probably still play the sims 4 with this bug unfixed.
This eye bug issue and 4 other eye bug issues have not been fixed, and it's been like 7 months now where I can't play TS4 and continue on with my Sims story because of these critical eye bug issues. The laundry lists are getting smaller, and the push for new content are getting bigger which means more bugs are being introduced into the game and less bugs are becoming fixed.
If they were serious about sticking with TS4, they would have hired many more developers to fix these bugs. I am sorry, but a laundry list with 15-20 bug fixes in a two month time vs how many critical game and story breaking bugs is not moving TS4 in the right direction. A lot of these bug fixes in the recent laundry lists aren't even critical bugs, such as the romance bug, eye shape bug, this occult eye bug, and many more.
They are selling expansions that are literally broken and unplayable. For instance, For Rent, there is a bug that corrupts your save and you will lose all your progress. This is just not fair to purchasing customers. If there are problems with the game, they should be doing an honest effort to fix these problems, even if that means hiring more developers on the bug fixing team. TS4 is a beautiful game, and it's my favorite game. It's just saddening seeing how badly it's falling apart. Seriously, EA, please hire more developers to help fix all these issues. I really don't want to jump to Inzoi. I would much rather continue my Sims story with TS4 because TS4 is just awesome, but with all these issues, what choice do I have?
I have the same problem with spellcasters and vampires, isn't there any solution yet?
