My sims aren't able to ask for presents from Father Winter. They're young adults, teens or children but the "ask" options isn't available. I've had this problem on and off for a long time. I don't have any mods or cc in my game.

Sims no longer have the ability to ask for presents.
There is no present interaction where he gives gifts, everything else is there.
Toddlers don't have the ability to ask.
Please fix.
Community ManagerI'm a new simmer. Recently bought High school years, haven’t been able to play it through because no prom. Now I've purchased seasons and can not finish winterfest successfully because there's no interaction to ask for a gift from Father Christmas. Only to give Father a Christmas a gift. Same for all ages, child, teen, young adult and adult. Never have used cc or mods.

During Winterfest, after Father Winter has arrived and the child sim has greeted him, the child has no option to ask Father Winter for a present. The young adults in the household were, however, able to ask for and receive presents from Father Winter. Have not tested other life stages.
Found with mods installed, verified after disabling mods.

Hi Crincrict.
The version number for the game is 1.119.109.1020 DX111. I've repaired the game and the save I'm currently playing only has teens and kids (it's part of a challenge ). No-one could ask for presents but I've done a test save with YA, teens and kids and they could ask for presents so I'm guessing the other save game is because there are no adults present. It's not a big deal that they can't get presents from Father Winter it's only because I thought the issue had been fixed but it seems that it has - it's only that particular household.
Since I wrote the above I've tried a new save with a couple of teens and could ask for presents from Father Winter but now I've found a new issue. I've lost prom. :) Prom has gone from the calendar. That's in the game I'm currently playing and also the two new saves I created for the Father Winter issue. Is there a way to restore prom? Or is the whole thing gone and I should reinstalled (I tried repairing again but there's no difference).
