[S] Stuck on Select Season for several unrelated interaction (1.113.288/2.09)

I've just downloaded the small business expansion pack, and now this issue has arisen for me too. I'm wondering if downloading the update and this expansion pack has caused this. My screen will not shift from select season even after selecting an option. 

This has just happened to me too. I have no mods or cc. I just downloaded today and tried to buy a small lot and it stayed stuck on the season option screen. 
I play on PS4…does anyone have any fixes or workarounds?

This isn’t a major issue, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. Every time I travel in-game, the “Select a season to play in” menu pops up, I’ll select a season & it doesn’t change anything. I did try to search for a forum that was similar but I couldn’t find anything. Please let me know if there was a solution!

I did repair the game & that was no help either :/

Hey! When I try to make my sims go in vacation, it doesnt work. It stays on the page where you choose the season. Anybody else got the same problem? Or ever better, a solution? :P

As of the most recent update to the game (Sep.18) every single time I press M or use the phone to travel, the pick a season screen pops up. Its very strange and this hasn't happened in my game before. I play on mac through the ea app, no mods, no cc. I tried to ignore it but it's becoming so redundant it's starting to get really annoying.
