[S] Time Limited Event causes seasons holiday UI to disappear

So I made a test holiday and this is what I'm seeing

clicking on the plumbob puts me back to the event

I don't know if how you would cycle between those on console though

Ok basically the balloons disappeared for me and I was unable to cycle between. Haven't checked today as tbh I'm to scared to open my game atm. I've spent alot of time on the forums in the last couple of days and as I have alot of For Rent lots, until save file corruption is addressed I'm not willing to risk it losing my save file, I've lost to many in the last 18 months due to bugs. Appreciate your help though. I'd close this thread and focus on the many similar issues with this event. Appreciate your time though.

Closing this one as resolved until we can get further information, as we were unable to reproduce the issue reported.  

Well it's not resolved but if this is how you close a thread it's appriciated. I wish I could provide more information and investigate further but like I said I'm to scared to open my game on Xbox until save file corruption caused buy For Rent is rectified. That is far more of a priority than Events right now.

This is definitely not resolved. I was having a Winterfest celebration and the UI for the stupid pop-up challenge remained but slowly everything else disappeared. First the Winterfest task box disappeared. Then the entire UI disappeared. Then the screen went black. Then when I exit and try to go to the main screen in hopes that I can relaunch without completely shutting down, the screen goes completely white. And you can’t tell what you’re clicking on. So you’re forced to shut down your console and start again. I’m on XB

Despite what the Community manager has written, this problem has absolutely not been resolved and is still occurring.

I already had this problem at the Reaper Event. For me too, the UI disappeared on the New Years holiday. To reactivate this, I went back to the main menu. Oh, and oops, I had a white screen. I had to quit the game and restart it, so I could continue playing. 
I play on the PS5.

Does your issue sound like the one being reported in the thread here? 

After 30 minutes of gameplay, the rewards event task window disappears. No tasks are shown. This has been going on for three weeks, ever since the event started. The previous event had a similar problem. And the reaper’s reward event broke in the middle and I was never able to complete it. Please stop doing these events if EA can’t do them without breaking the game. I am on PlayStation five no mods ever.
