Sim is going to work when it's not the scheduled time to work and as they do this their profile icon at the bottom of the screen is faded out but not icons appear on it to indicate they are at work, like it normally would when they are working. Not sure if it has to do with the career level exceeding 10 or not.

It's at random times and they disappear. I haven't tested other saves yet and have only been playing with one main family so far.
Can you try if quitting and rejoining the career helps ?
Is work the only thing that's off time-wise or also for example if you schedule an event for a certain time ?
I didn't realize there was an option for sims to go to work on off hours, so it looks like they are doing this and I just discovered it. However they don't get paid, and I'm wondering if the work icons on the profile should pop up like they normally would when on work hours or not.
I take it they have the workaholic lifestyle ? Do they also have stuck moodlets ? What's the first one ?
Don't know if they are supposed to this on their own.
