it's also happening to these objects from JA, all of the glyphs and both the awning types have the shadow imprint when shrunk down, it's fainter on these than the plants though. It's seems to only be things from the Build wall structures tab.

Greetings
In the meantime I noticed the "too large shadow" on a few other things - for example : selfmade photographs, and an object out of the dlc lovestruck : the stars-string lights attached to wooden posts. The shadow of the modern bathtub (basegame, expensive , with upholstery) is now so big, that you are able to see it outside the exterior wall. I see this "too large shadows" on many objects (all original size !) , you can attach on walls. (i didn't see them while playing longer times ago ... !)

When enlarging the Superasymmetry painting with the square bracket key, the shadow does not resize along with the painting itself. Aside from being cosmetically weird, this limits the placement of the painting on the wall, as the shadow effectively expands the painting's vertical footprint (i.e. the shadow can't be placed below floor level). Thus, the bigger the painting gets, the higher up on the wall it has to sit.
I found an old thread in the archive where this bug was noted in 2015, but it appears never to have been fixed (or it was fixed and broke again).
