Short dirty nail swatch causing Sim to look metallic

I'm really not sure how to explain what I'm seeing, so I've uploaded attachments. I created this sim yesterday after downloading the new EP and all was fine then. Today when I logged in everything looked fine, but then several minutes into playing my sim started looking like she just came home from a baby-oil wrestling match. I went into CAS and removed the new shiny effect, saved, closed my game, and re-loaded. She looked the same. So, I disabled Mods, closed the game, removed the entire Mods folder (to the Desktop), reloaded, annnnd she looked the same.
