I’m having this issue as well. For me, I found it also removed any sort of shiny texture on my sim’s clothing and makeup as well, such as the glossy lipstick (it shows up on other sims, so it is not due to my graphics settings). The shininess appeared in gameplay and on her avatar picture in the bottom corner, but not on her character in CAS. I do have CC installed in these images, but tested it without CC to make sure that wasn’t the issue.
