I removed the short dirty nails from my Sim and still got this shiny, checkered pattern - and it pops up out of nowhere even gameplay. Here's a pic of my Sim that was normal one second and then changed to the texture. The Sims were sitting, chatting on the bench and it came out of nowhere. It only happens to this one Sim. I don't have cc and only mod I have in is MCCC. tried it without the mod and it still came on spontaneously when she was fishing. I don't know what is causing it as I first thought it was the short dirty nails, but took those off. Sometimes, the avatar itself (the one on the bottom left) gets shiny as well. I've also maxed all my graphic game settings and still happens.
