Sometimes, rather randomly, my sim cannot leave the house. The door is not locked, another sim went through the same door with no issue but if I don't go into building mode and move the door/delete it and replace it, my sim won't be able to leave the house. The blue steps with the red cross will appear stating they can't go through it. It often happens right when they need to go to school or to work.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
- Does the Sim that has issues using doors have a neighbor tag if you hover over them ?
- Are the Sims that don't have issues part of your household ? Did they do it on their own or when directed ?
Hi! I tried with no mods and CC and the bug still appears. I play on PC and the sim having this issue is part of my household. When I click on "go to work" or "go to school", the blue steps with the cross appear above their heads and they refuse to go. Only removing the door and placing it back on the wall works from my experience
I am having a very similar problem with certain doors in my game (xbox, Nov 4 patch installed). The problem occurs with household members, I'll sometimes return to a sim household and they suddenly won't be able to use their upstairs toilet. I've experienced the glitch routinely, both with doors placed with moveobjects and without. If I go into build mode, delete the door and then undo that action; when I return to live mode I can use the door regularly again. The similarities between the instances (in my game alone) is that all of the rooms which become inaccessible are upstairs and within three tiles of a staircase.

It is similar yes!! Except everything goes back to normal after I deleted and put the door back on the wall (or not?? Idk its very random but its more because the bug isnt solved rather than it dissolves into a multitude of other bugs)
It sounds like what I am experiencing except the door which encounters the bug is always the entrance 🥲
