My sims either won't follow a command (just stand there) or they "do" it without actually moving. For example, they will go to sleep without getting into bed. I've linked to a video to better explain. As you can see from the video this is without mods/cc installed. I play on an M1(2020) Mac.

I haven't played the game for months because i take more time trying to fix the game than i do playing it but I wanted to play again so i freshly downloaded it and it doesn't work I tested the game with no mods and started a new save file and my sims still can't talk to each other or interact with items i can only move them around but for example if i click on the computer and make my sims write jokes it shows that the sim is doing it in the queue and the level bar is on top of their head but the sims is not actually doing anything they just stand still. or i could be able to make them talk for a second and then it stops working again i also can't save my house to the gallery or my library i had to rebuild my house twice 😑
Even after this last update my sims are still frozen ... is there ever going to be a fix? I haven't been able to play since Adventure Awaits was released.
once again, i cant play ... haven't been able too since adventure awaits ... game crashed three times today. started a new game, even bought a brand new computer .... still crashed. will there ever be a fix?

I realized this issue was happening while having a Kava party and it's continued happening.
I had my sim socialize with her friends, start doing dishes, vacuum, and then play with her dog. None of the objects or sims moved, they were all frozen, but when I cancelled the interactions or reset my sim, the objects would move as though they were interacted with. The single dishes spread around the house would suddenly be pilled up somewhere, or the floor would be vacuumed, or I would see my sims friendship bars going up, but no one was moving. I've tried repairing my game, lowering the graphics settings, leaving the game, trying different save files, and different lots but it continues to happen.
Has anyone else figured out this issue yet? I haven't been able to play since Adventure Awaits came out.
No. They have basically not acknowledged this issue for months, which is sad considering it is a large bug many people are experiencing and they are working on a lot of bug fixes. The moderators don’t even reply here anymore

Sometimes my sims just freeze or t-pose and freeze, and resetting them does nothing. I have to go to the manage worlds screen and come back again to actually reset them. There's no one definitive action that seems to cause this, although I think it happens more with infants/toddlers/pets in the home. I'm not certain on that, however.
