Sims Constantly Freeze

For the last week or so I have struggled with a problem where the Sims in my household will freeze and have to be reset. I play PC, no mods or cc. This problem has been seen in multiple households as well as different saves. I have had to switch out of my legacy saves to be able to play single sim households or I am unable to keep up as each sim and pet in the household are affected.
