I found out that when my sims are supposed to get older and I make cake for them even when they blow candles on the cake or make a wish or when I choose any other option where they are supposed to get older they don't. I thought it might be because of the mod I had so my sims friends can age up too but I tried it completely without mods and nothing changed. They make a wish, blow out the candles and nothing happens. They age up when the day goes by automatically and then they are sad because "no one remembered they have a birthday" even though they had a birthday party. And it´s not a new bug. I hadn´t time to play in the last 1,5 years so I hoped it got patched but I got back in the game with the same problem. I even repaired the game and did a false reinstallation. My game is up to date.

do you have this issue still for all age groups ? It was fixed a while ago but still occurs for toddlers so if you still have this for all age groups, please repair your game.

The last time I tried it with young adults I had to force it through mod for them to age up. Last week I did "false reinstallation" because of a bug I thought I had.

Do you have a lot of open space or is it really tight ?
It is not thight, there is space where the animation can go on to age up. I did repair a few minutes ago, tried it with my sim, and nothing, she blows the candles and continues with her life without aging.
