Sims excessively flirt with others

Not only has this not been fixed, it's gotten worse. Created a Sim yesterday and build her a house and Dina Caliente is the first sim my sim (Abbie) has any contact with. I do a friendly introduction and chat about property values and suddenly Dina gives Abbie a rose, now Abbie is flirty so I "Ask to just be friends" and the romance bar goes down... then Abbie (with no urge from me) starts kissing Dina's hands and now the romance bar is up again. BTW I have autonomy OFF and have never used MODS or CC.

This is driving me crazy and EA needs to fix this immediately because it's ruining the whole game.

Okay enough is enough! A sim in my household just died. Then the Grim Reaper began flirting with my female sim and right away she has a romance bar for him. Sims aren't safe from anyone!

Her attraction level shifts from Attracted to Neutral, like within a day even tho both are Very Satisfied.  Confused, I put the marriage on hold.   But if the game isn't recognizing falling in love that explains why the relationships degrade so quickly!   

yesterday I had an interesting thing happen in game.

One of my sims aged up from teen after she broke up with her girlfriend (who had aged up before her) and then asked to be just friends with her, I then had her marry someone else.

Her husband and ex-girlfriend where at the house at the same time and in a conversation with the wife sim. Husband randomly flirted with ex-girlfriend of his wife (he was flirty...), wife gets upset. Then the husband flirts with his own wife and the ex-girlfriend (who was not in the conversation now, just in the room), gets upset. When I look at the relationship status ex-girlfriend have with the wife it is just Just Friends and broken up, nothing with loving each other or anything. But she is now also angry at the wife for cheating on her. Like what? You have broken up already and are not in love, she has no romance bar with anyone else so it is not the husband she is jealous of.

All of this just because of a flirty mood.

Also, there is something wrong with milestones in my game - I'm going to see if I can find it reported already - but romantic ones does not happen on both sims most if the time. So if a sim fall in love, start a relationship, woohoo, get engaged and then married. Sometimes on of the sims won't get the milestones. Usually they are supernatural, but not always. I noticed this when my alien elder wanted to fall in love/ get married. Like what? You have been married all this time. Come to find out the game did not recognise it in all aspects. He has a spouse in the relationship tab, but they cannot be soulmates or anything because the game does not recognise them as in love/ married. Maybe have something to do with the marriage family tree update

Anyway, wanted to mention it here as well because if sims don't recognise they are married, no wonder they might flirt with others.

It's even more annoying when the spouse rejects the flirting and the other spouse STILL gets mad AT THEIR SPOUSE, as if they were at fault? Red flag!!

It's not just a problem with married couples either, I have a couple of roommates who according to the background I gave them are childhood friends who all lost touch through high school and college, but reconnected now sharing an apartment in the city. 

I don't want them to flirt with each other, since I'd reckon they'd basically be like siblings. I really like sims just being good friends with zero romantic interests in each other even if the friend happens to match their sexual preferences. 

I know! I love building and playing families in the Sims but that's now ruined. Married couples can't be around anyone but themselves and their children without insane flirting going on and my Sims seen as cheaters. I even made some of them unflirty and it still happens.

This had stopped for me for a good while, but today I have a reborn loyal sim who has been married to her wife for ages without ever doing anything even remotely unfaithful, now obsessively wanting to make an enchanting introduction to a randomly generated elder npc in a luchador mask.

I don't even want my sims making autonomous friendly introductions to the rng sims... it just bloats my save to death with meaningless relationship ties that overwrite the ones I curate. Background noise is fine, but behaviors that misalign with personality, lifestyle, consistent behavior patterns- especially ones that ruin intentionally built relationships and gunk up the data... I do not like it Sim-I-am...

happening to me also 4 months later. i’ve seen posts up to 2 years old saying the same thing. it’s actually infuriating. all sims flirt with absolutely everyone and it’s ruining everyone’s relationships 😡😡

I can't even allow my Sim family to stay in the same room, eat at the same table or play games together. I had to put televisions in each couple's bedroom because they can't spend time in the same room with other Sims. They flirt with guests and the maid. It's horrible!
