Opened a small business selling art. For the first few openings everything was fine. After a while, I noticed that after opening the small business, at the 3-4 hour mark (as in the business had been open 3-4 hours Sim time), the sims on the lot would stay still. Pressing pause or fast-forward did nothing. I couldn't click on any objects either. I could enter build/buy mode, but going to manage worlds caused it to stay on the loading screen for a long time. Clicking "save" or "save and exit" just led to the saving screen being on forever. My only fix for this issue is force quitting the Sims 4 app. The freeze only happens when opening my small business. I don't think it's my mods or cc because it only happens when I open the small business.
Basically:
- Sims stay frozen where they are
- Time frozen
- Pause & fast-forward doesn't work
- Cannot click objects/sims
- Can still enter build/buy
- Clicking manage worlds leads to loading screen that takes forever (no point waiting because at that point it's not going to load)
- Click save or save and exit leads to saving screen that takes forever (again, no point waiting)
- Only solution is to force quit and lose progress
Does anyone know why this is happening?
