Sims keep freezing

After completing the new update on the Sims 4, I'm constantly having to reset them. They all just stop moving. I have no mods on my game, no old files or saves as I got so fed up with it I removed everything and re-installed the game, created a new household of one and it just keeps freezing. No idea what to do.

Frantztztz Do they just cancel the current action or drop the whole queue ?

for completions sake could you please add tags for mod usage (if you use any or not) and your platform.

    Thank you.

  • Nearly every actions are cancelling themselves (even in small saves with just a dozen sims). It takes 3 to 5 times asking a sim to do something for them to do it. If I ask one time, they usually cancel the action...

This has been happening in my game as well (on PC). The only way to solve it is to use the console to reset the Sim. It did happen occasionally before the Nov 22 update, but since then it has been much more frequent.

Mine was happening when my Sim was a landlord and living on their property. After a few tries of moving off the property, the Sims are finally working again and completing their actions

I've been having the same issue. They just stand there and then the queue deletes. I've especially been getting frustrated trying to get my sims to go to school/work/university. If it does automatically add to the queue it then cancels out and even when i'm manually clicking go to work it keeps canceling out and the sims idle forever. I'm also on PC and have disabled all mods and cc

After updating to the newest patch a few days ago, my sims have been frozen and won't complete any actions. They just stand there and the action I queue up won't move down in the action queue. I've tried resetting the sims, restarting the game, deleting mods, repairing the game, and restarting my computer. I waited to see if others had this same issue with the patch and it would be fixed, but the issue has remained despite trying all the steps above several times.
