Sims keep stopping/cancelling out their actions to do other things

My Sims will no longer perform actions unless I either instruct them to do so multiple times or keep the selected Sim selected until the action is completed since the update released on June 1, 2025 ...

This issue has become so bad now I swear my Sims are saying F.U and don't do anything at all the real problem is, they do not come out of freezing stance anymore, time just keeps ticking away but nothing else moves and I am now beyond frustrated. This game has officially and literally become unplayable to me. I'm on PS5
