Description:
After the latest Sims 4 update and hotfix, I am experiencing a bug where my Sim gets stuck repeatedly selecting and unselecting a a interaction. and has started happen a lot after using the new CAS “dislike” feature for objects. Specifically:
- I set my Sim to dislike the computer in CAS.
- After repairing the game and loading my save, the Sim automatically attempted to use the computer.
- The game conflicted with the dislike setting, causing the Sim to endlessly loop selecting/unselecting the computer interaction.
- I then removed the dislike in CAS, but the loop continued. The Sim remains stuck and does not perform other actions. casuing no gameplay
- This occurs with no mods or custom content installed.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a Sim and set a CAS dislike for an object (computer or phone).
- Save and exit the game.
- Repair the game (optional).
- Remove the dislike in CAS.
- Load the save. The Sim begins to automatically interact with the object but gets stuck in a loop selecting/unselecting.
Expected Outcome:
The Sim should either respect the dislike and avoid the object, or interact normally without getting stuck in a loop.
Actual Outcome:
The Sim gets stuck in a looping interaction, continuously selecting and unselecting the object, making noises, and cannot perform other actions.
Additional Notes:
- The issue happens in my main save.
- The bug persists even after clearing the cache, repairing the game, and resetting the Sim (resetsim *).
- Creating a new save or moving the Sim to a different lot has not fully resolved the problem.
