Sims won't clean up dishes from high chair

When I have one of my Sims "Load Dishwasher", all the plates on the table are collected, but the plates/bowls on the highchairs (from giving toddlers food) are ignored. The Sims can usually find stra...

does it work without an dishwasher when you tell them to clean up other dishes or do they ignore it then too ?

I'll experiment a bit more tomorrow when there are dirty dishes on the high chairs again.
