After the Sims 4 update, the Sims’ social behavior inside the house has become even more chaotic. My household consists of five adults. When a holiday event is taking place—for example, Winterfest—they won’t socialize with each other and instead choose to talk to Sims outside the house. If there are no Sims outside the house, they’ll just stay silent or do other activities instead of chatting with the Sims in the house. However, on the other hand, when I cancel the holiday or it’s no longer a holiday—meaning a regular day—they’ll chat with each other.
Usually, during holidays, Sims like to chat with other Sims in the house—singing, toasting, and sharing the holiday spirit.
