So it started happening about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I was trying to build with the S1M5-4 Test Tube Pedestal and it kept throwing me that error. I tried rebuilding my whole build and use it and yet it still keeps happening. It won't place down, or anything in Build Mode.
And these are ALL the troubleshooting steps I done:
1. Uninstalled/Reinstalled
2. Repaired the game/Verified files
3. Took out the Mod folder and Save folders for back up, uninstalled, reinstalled without putting the two folders back (whole new Save file)
4. Built in game and pack only items
5. Started builds from scratch (not from the Gallery)
And yet...this problem persists. Given, it is a detailed built lot, but I have done MUCH more detailed lots and builds than I am currently working on without the Build/Buy items messing up.
And today, found another item with this whole Script Call Failed issue; Ingenius Ingvar Cool Display Case
I can't place this item now...
I just want to know why I can't build as detailed as I used to without this error. And on a whole new save with no mod folders and no CC.
My PC should be able to handle anything thrown at it; it has a 3060ti, 12 core processor, 3 TB of SSD, 32 RAM, and there's still plenty of space for it to be able to run without it mucking up. And I can't find any other reason than maybe the items themselves or bugged or now there is a "Detail" limit on building where items like that can't function?
Did you ever get a solution to this? I was trying to use that base game display case and it started throwing the error on every item I put down after it. Everything was going really smoothly until I tried to use that display case and now I'm in the middle of repairing my game to see if I can fix it.
I will note that plant containment cell is already in the build but the problem started happening with the other display case.
