'There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery'

Could be something about your upload then. I really don't know.

crinrict​ ok, so i loaded it (the household that wouldn't upload) in CAS from my Library, and saved it to my Library again (created a new copy). i was able to upload this new copy to the Gallery without a hitch. i didn't change anything about the Sim or the household name or description. i guess something went wrong while saving the household to my Library the first time? some metadata that didn't save right?

I have the exact same issue since the August patch update. Really nothing fixes it.

Me too! Ever since the August update, I can't upload lots. I was able to upload a Sim. I got rid of mods, repaired the game, cleared the cache, started new save.

I'm having the same issue for last couple weeks.

First, I disabled one pack via command line. I tried to upload the build and could not. Ok, then I re-enabled this pack and tried again - no result. I disabled my mods (I only have better build buy and tool) - nothing, the same issue. Then, I repaired my game. the same issue. I tried to clean up the space on my PC, in case the build is too big. I tried to delete some of my other builds in gallery. I tried to rename the build. Nothing was working. I tried to upload a room instead of a whole build, empty lot and so on - nothing was working. I only noticed that room was saved, but the error still appeared. I read here, at the forum, that sometime it helps to wait some time even if error appear. I waited but it didn't help. And then some time later, after dinner, I tried to upload the same lot again and it worked, just like that. With no error or something, it just worked!

Since then I had this issue couple times, but it helped to wait a bit, error appeared, but the build was saved to gallery. 

It is very weird!

Hello, I recently had this after updating to the current patch. I tried something out and it worked for me! Hope it helps anyone else with this issue! 😊

The lot I was trying upload to the gallery, and got the error message with, was already saved in my library. So I entered into the lot in build mode and then resaved it to my library and I was able to upload it to the gallery with out any error message.

Cannot upload builds to the Gallery after latest update

Platform: [PC / Mac / Console]

Game Version: [ex: 1.xx.x.1030 — veja no menu principal do jogo]

Mods/CC installed: [Yes/No]

Language: [Portuguese-BR or English]

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. I build a house in The Sims 4.
2. I try to save and share it to the Gallery.
3. The game shows an error message: “Server error. We could not process this Gallery request. Please try again later.”

What happens when the bug occurs:

I cannot upload my house/build to the Gallery. I can open the Gallery and download items, but I cannot share anything.

What should happen instead:

The game should allow me to save and upload my builds to the Gallery without error.

When did this issue start?

After the latest update [insert the approximate date].

Additional information:

• I already checked my internet connection (stable).
• I cleared cache and restarted the game/EA App.
• I logged out and logged in again.
• The problem persists for more than [2] days.
