'There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery'

Ever since patch 1.117.221.1020 (August 19, 2025) I have had this error when trying to upload Lots to the Gallery; whereas, prior to the August 19th patch everything worked perfectly/as expected.

So far, I have:

Removed Mods; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists

Repaired the Game several times; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists

Started a Fresh/New Save; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists

Re-saved Lot to Library and tried to upload a new copy; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists.

Reset the Game to Factory settings without Reinstalling via Crinrict's site; which also didn't make a difference.

NOTHING seems to Help this Generic Issue. :<

I'm not sure what else to try, there is no Error Code or Anything useful in the error message to direct/lead to potential solutions while troubleshooting, just the Generic Error:

"There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery"

crinrict Unfortunately no screenshot. I uploaded two other lots late last night without issue. I'm building now and will reply if I get another error.

There's a few similar error messages. This one is still open:

Are you sure it was the same one as before ? Since there legit instances for the server error one and it works now, it might be resolved ?

crinrict Yes. My apologies. I think I saw a similar thread that was locked for comment and the one you referenced was pre-January patch. Yes, it is the same issue and the comments reflect my experience. Definitely not resolved because there is no issue with my saves (mailbox in place, no CC, etc.)

This happened to me today - did all the usual, repair, fresh start, uninstall etc. ... when it first started my spotlight screen was also emptied, despite having several long term items uploaded; all my fiddling fixed that but still can't upload.
I have nothing but Outdoor Retreat and the Throwback Fit Kit installed, though the game is fully updated.

Same for myself and my game. I have the same error message trying to uploading builds to the gallery. Yet I can upload sims I made to the gallery with easy on my ps5 version of the game.
