Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves

UPDATE: I've renamed the Sims 4 file to reset the game, the issue still persists. I'm out of ideas.

Hi, I'm also having this issue and it's extremely frustrating so I will most likely be quitting the game for a while. As others have said, it always happens at the same time, for me 4:04AM, though it occasionally varies. 

There are many things that I have tried:

• Deleting problematic mods one by one that are flagged by Better Exceptions, there is now seemingly nothing wrong with any mods (I have been deleting localthumbcache too)
• Ensuring that all mods such as MCCC are updated to the latest version
• Removing all mods entirely, which shows that this is not a mod issue
• Repairing the game through the EA app
• Keeping my sims awake, as they were asleep all the previous times I had tested the game
• Playing one of my other households, interestingly the time freeze now happened at 4:30AM rather than 4:04AM
• Using UI Cheats (fully updated by the way) to skip time before it freezes, this just makes the time freeze happen later in the day
• Evicting my sims from the lot then moving them back in

I have not yet tried doing a clean reset of the game by renaming the Sims 4 file, but this will likely be my next move. I will probably comment here again after I've done this. I see that another user on this thread has said that toddlers are the issue. I do have two toddlers so it is plausible that this is the issue in that specific household, but the other household I tried did not have toddlers and the issue still occurred.

Other things of note:

• This has happened to me before in other saves, but has mostly been fixed by a simple game restart and the issue did not happen again. There was one time in another save where the issue persisted like it is now, but I didn't really investigate, instead getting mad and deleting the save altogether. I do not want that to happen to this current save.
• This does seemingly occur in all households, even if I move them off their home lot.

I'm guessing there isn't a known fix right now, as I see nothing on the thread. I just pray that this is fixed soon as I have plans for my current save and need to continue. Thanks in advance.
