Hello all, first post as I usually can troubleshoot most of my game issues, but this one's got me stumped. After the new update, the time will randomly freeze and i'm unable to click on anything, so I try to save and then i'm stuck on the saving screen with it not saving and can only close the game with the task manager. Any ideas on what might be causing this? I have my mods updated, I tried without my mods, the same issue no matter what.
MarsStars23 Is there any pattern to what's happening on-screen when the freezes happen? What world(s) are you playing in, and does the game run better in a base game world?
Please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
I have been having the same issue I’m currently playing in Glimmerbrook and the game would freeze not even a minute into my gameplay. which I would have to force shutdown the game with taskbar manager.
Are you using mods/cc ? If so, please test without. If you don't use them, please post your specs as asked earlier.
ive removed my mods but the problem still persists. i will try removing my cc however and get back to you on that
mine seems to freeze the time specifically at like 6:33pm for some reason, it plays fine until around that time. since the time is frozen i cant fast forward or click on anything but the sims still move within the action theyre doing
