There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on.
If you encounter this is with ANY mods in your game, then this is not your thread. ...

+1 [Playing on a Mac] I’ve been having the same exact issue for about 3 days now. My save file does the same thing where at around 4.03 or 4.04am , the time just glitches out but everything still moves (aka. my sims and the environment) while the clock doesn’t move. I can’t click on any of my sims; but clicking on build mode and the three dots works but that’s about it. My games perpetually on an unplayable infinite loop unless i force quit the app. I do play with mods but everything was fine before the recent update and also updated all my mods but to no avail.
Hopefully would like to see any updates regarding this issue!
