There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on.
If you encounter this is with ANY mods in your game, then this is not your thread. ...

I think I have fixed mine! This exact same thing was happening to me and I was heartbroken. I tried everything, deleted my localthumbcache, deleted mods, repaired my game and nothing worked. But I moved my household to a different lot- literally in the same world, I have the same house, just a different lot and it has been working! I hope it stays but it's been working perfectly for me so far.
