There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on.

I know this forum is old but I just started having this issue. Truth is I haven't tested any other save files to see if they run fine or not, but I did save my DxDiag info.

hi, i'm not sure it will work for you but i ended up finding that it was somehow linked to the Life & Death expansion pack. i unchecked that pack in the pack picker, and never had the issue again. i also ended up full wiping my game and all saves (even my legacy one) since then and haven't had the issue since even with life & death, so do what this info what you will
