Hi. My problem started after the newest update. Before that everything was working just fine. I didn't download the first incorrect update, I only updated the day after the update first came out.
At random points, could be anywhere from 5 minutes to a couple of hours after starting the game the time just suddenly freezes. Game speed (1x, 2x, 3x) doesn't affect this, it happens on all speeds. When the bug happens, time stops moving but my sims are stuck in an infinite loop of doing the animation they were doing. I'm not able to click anything, save the game or even exit. I'm forced to close the game via task manager.
After the update, I opened my legacy save without any mods installed. I made sure to clear the cache before opening the game. The bug started happening immediately. After a couple of reboots I got it running ok for a while, so I installed the updated version of MCCC and it ran smoothly for a while before glitching again.
After googling for a bit I found out this bug/glitch/etc. has been happening for years for both modded and vanilla players. What could the issue be and how could I fix it? The problem occurs on all kinds of lots (heavily decorated, lots that came with the game/DLC:s etc) so it shouldn't be because of a lot of decoration or a lot of sims. My household also has only one sim living in it. My computer is a gaming computer and everything is up to date.

Hi!
I tried a new save game for 3 in-game days and it didn't happen. Here's the DxDiag file:

I think i found the solution to eliminate this bug, if you have MCCC go to a PC and go to
MC Population > Moving Settings > Allow Homeless Move in and "Disable" it .
So far after this i haven't got any freezing issues. By my theory i think if alot of sims move in a lot it will generate a lot of furniture and causes the game to bug i guess.
