There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on.

Hi everyone, reporting back as my game has been fixed. I followed the instructions on Deaderpool's Discord in the #mccc-support -channel. Disabling auto-marriage both in MCCC settings and in Neighbourhood Stories fixed the issue for me. Thank you all for helping me as well!
