There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on.
If you encounter this is with ANY mods in your game, then this is not your thread. ...

I'm having this issue as well, had it last sunday when I opened the game to play a bit and just now when I sat down to play the new pack (different saves, both brand new). The game time and sims all froze, but enviroment as moving as if in the fastest fast foward speed. Had to force it closed in the manager task.
For me I'm playing on pc and haven't used mods in around three months.
Beazychan Did the game fast forward aka did the speed button also change or did it just look like it ?
I suppose it could have changed, the UI didnt indicate it though. I could press any of he speed buttons or pause and it didnt select nor did it change anything.
I do know I wasnt using fast foward at the time of the latest occurence because I was in the middle of eloping on yesterday' save when it happened.
