I tried getting my Sim to feed my toddler sims and they just won't eat!

This started happening to a child in my save after the February 3rd 2026 update. He just sits there with the plate in front of him and does not do the eating action. He socializes and other actions, so he isn't frozen. This save has no mods and is on a PC. I am playing the limited time event, if that makes a difference.
