Tooltip and growth chart keeps disappearing from plants

I have noticed a glitch in Sims 4 that occurs sometimes, and I think I know the connecting issues. I noticed that, sometimes after going somewhere and returning to my Sims lot, that I am no longer able to get the information when I hover my mouse over plants and consumables like the planter boxes. Nothing else appears wrong, but the only fix seems exiting the game to return. I am able to save without it continuing the issue.

I do believe I know some of the connecting issues for it. It appears that, if I have haggled with a vendor successfully, that this might be the start of the glitch. I have noticed, for example in the Realm of Magic, that even if the next vendor I unsuccessfully haggle, I still get the discounted prices. It is after this, upon return to my home lot, that I have the above issue. It was only after the second time that I really noticed this secondary issue, which was odd. The third time that this vendor issue happened, I paid close attention to what happened when I returned home, and sure enough, I couldn't get information when I hovered again.

I'm not sure any other way to let someone know of these separate but connected issues than this.
