Tooltip and growth chart keeps disappearing from plants

same problem. Happens at home lots as well as community gardens and the Scientist Lab lot for me. New save started after the update or one from before does not matter. 

I even get random tooltip info on random items instead sometimes. Like the strawberry plant tooltip was on the scientist invention satellite dish, and my sims bed tooptip (assigned bed) was on a planter in the scientist lab lot.

I noticed this too in my game. 

Hi. I've been taking notes on when it happens in my game, and the result is: labels disappear when meeting a new crow (weird, right?).

Done this with 5 different Sims/contexts in a row and i'm sure: NWDD HQ, family day, Specter crypt and bog default-placed crows, plus home lot in NewCrest (which was the only regular crow). Hover/click and dismiss changes nothing; selecting Coo/Watch/etc. instantly makes the labels go.

Hope to see a fix soon.

In the week since, i haven't had the labels disappear a single time outside the one tarot card requiring crow involvement, and i do check, ALL the time, always worried they might have disappeared.

If there's something else that triggers the bug, it isn't part of my usual gameplay so i'd need some hints what to try next. Thanks.

I don't have an answer, I don't work for EA.

Have not tried to track the cause down for this.

But does it happen in your game when meeting a new crow, like i said in previous post? Even if we only track one cause, it's progress.

I haven't tested. This issue is on EA's plate and I do not have the time to test every issue.

Fair enough, i know there's a lot to do. I just don't want the reproducible steps i found to get buried under future "me too"-s.

I'm new here and went about it the wrong way, underestimated the amount of information and notifications, but this seems important. Could you check if the same thing happens in your games as in mine: when you interact with a new crow, that's when tooltips disappear? Does it ever happen without crows? Gardening is the centre of my gameplay and i'd really like this sorted.

I wasn't interacting with crows with my Sim when this happened to me. But I was living in Ravenwood. Maybe there is more than one trigger to this bug.

It's good that you have found out it can have something to do with crows and that you shared the info here. This bug is already verified to be a bug by Maxis QA and next we just have to waite when it will move forward in the process.
